..with one of the best photographers in Boulder. And yep, he is paying me! Paying me to teach me!!! I am so excited, we are doing a shoot for Celestial Seasonings tomorrow and then I am running off to my studio to do a shoot for my own client. Things have really picked up fast!
So, this is very cool. I will start off just moving props and doing reflecters and lights and such. Once he thinks I am good enough he'll start handing me the camera to take my own shots to suppliment his. After I get better, then I become the "second shooter" at weddings and such. Once I am very good, he will give me the jobs he can't take on.
Thursday we are doing an engagement shoot and then he is going to teach me photoshop. He told me he would teach me the photography business in and out. I totally lucked out, I can't believe it. And I have noticed in the last week my skills have jumped (imo). One good peice of advice he has given me is to always state loud and clear that "I am a professional photographer!" He says there is a ton of energy around that and I think it is true.
