I just had a pretty good day: personal and photography. I have been having a pretty hard time with so many things, personal and financial- so headed to parents house. Today was a HUGE family reunion down by the river. I was not really excited about the idea, but hot day, river, lotsa kids.. I thought that my kids would enjoy it. WOW, was I right. I did not do much "talking" since a lot of these people, I did not know. But, I tried. A lot of families with cute kids to photograph and things to take pictures of.

Still feeling pretty rough around the edges, but as a photographer... WOW, it was a really good day. I cannot wait to download everything and see if they turned out.

I just looked at them, they look great!  I love the water ones, the color is perfect. You are so great at capturing children.  I bet they will all buy some:)

I did a reunion in July if you want to see it.  They mostly wanted posed, so it was boring, and it was at 12 noon on a mt top, but if you want to see it you can go to my clients area on my site and the password is "Brown".

Just looked at those too, great!  You were only a guest, I know.  If I was paid to shoot that, I would have asked people if I could get shots of them.  Your candids are fabulous, though!  You def can't be the weird photographer wife at a conference.  But PLEASE, next time you go some place like that, could you take me?  I so need a vacation where there are sailboats:)

well, I was sort of the official photog there. Did a lot of candids cause that is what they wanted at this particular lunch. Also did the lunch the next day (complained about noon sun and white table cloths, so they changed the cloths to black, lol) did the drink mixer, the closing dinner, rec dinner on USS Midway and lol.... pics of the conference exhibitors booth.

"conference" did not pay, but DH bought me a nice lens specifically for that week and as payment.
