    Do you use a P&S?

Who uses a p&S? When do you use it? Just curious because we will be getting a Leica P&S soon. I think it will be nice for all the times I would have liked to have brought a camera but didn't want to lug around my SLR. We got lucky that my brother had gotten the Leica before  his Rebel and now wants to sell it because he doesn't use it. So we get a used price without all the worry about where it came from. Any one familiar with the Leicas?

Constructive Critism is always welcome. I am here to learn so let me know how I can do better.

we kept our p&s thinking that we would use it but it just hasn't been touched since getting the DSLR.

DH absolutely refuses to touch the d80 so he uses the p&s.  I imagine I will use it this summer when I take the kids to the lake or pool alone.

Obviously since I just got my DSLR, I use a P&S. I imagine I'll keep using it for snapshots when the DSLR is too much to carry. Fits great in the diaper bag and while I do miss some shots, it's the camera that I'd prefer get busted or lost versus breaking or losing the DSLR.

I have always had a tiny P&S for my purse and with video capabilities, but I never use them. My parents took my last one, so I'll probably ask them for it back next month when I see them at a family wedding, and I'll continue to keep it in my purse - just in case!

Sold mine to help pay for a lens for dh, I never used it, it just sat in the case on the shelf. My two oldest dd's both have if I ever really needed one, lol.
